This institution was established in 1992 as College Preparatory International HOUDEGBE. In 1995, the Ministry of Higher Education of Benin Republic granted Accreditation as a private higher institution for Association Degree Programs in Business Administration. Most of those graduates are employed all over West and Central African countries while many have found their ways into various institutions in Europe, the United States and Canada.

COLLABORATION:The provision of American business style education, made possible through collaboration with the West Virginia State College and Plymouth State University; the provision for improving healthcare capacity, quality and safety through collaboration with HealthLink International and its university affiliates in Philadelphia, PA, will assist, in providing the manpower needs of African nations after the long history of colonization. Within the context of a Pan-African philosophy, HNAUB has created a bilingual centre of excellence, producing barrier-less citizens of the world and dedicated to the promotion of inter-territorial social, cultural, and economic harmonization. To achieve this, HNAUB has additional collaborations with institutions in both English and French speaking Africa, French Village Badagry, and Nigeria.
